Space Request Process
The College of Charleston's space management governance system and processes are in the process of being reviewed and updated to meet current strategic and capital plans. In order to plan effectively and meet faculty and staff needs, space requests should be submitted well in advance of the date the space is needed. Please keep in mind that there are more requests in between semesters, and workloads increase dramatically for Physical Plant and IT staff during this time. In the interim, requests for new space allocations should adhere to the process outlined below.
- Requests for new/additional space or alterations to existing allocated space should be entered as a Work Order Request through our Work Order Request Portal.
- Please ensure that your request is as detailed as possible and that SPACE is chosen as your 'Problem Code'.
- Once your request has been received the Office of Campus Planning will contact you regarding your request.
- If you will be moving to a different office please send an email to Rachel Vrancken, the Facilities Data Coordinator, to update our office on the changed occupancy.
